Writing

Writing Stories that connect us, challenge us, and remind us we're never alone.

Writing has become one of the most meaningful ways I make sense of life's hardest moments. Through personal essays, my Substack, and my memoir in progress, I explore resilience, grief, healing, identity, heart health, organ donation, and the unexpected beauty of second chances.

A licensed mental health counselor by training and a heart transplant recipient by experience, I write with honesty, vulnerability, and hope. My goal isn't simply to tell my story. It's to create space for others to see themselves in it.

Whether you're a patient, caregiver, healthcare professional, or someone navigating life's unexpected turns, I hope my words remind you that healing rarely follows a straight line, and that even in our hardest moments, hope can still be found.
